What this is
The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) operates the MLS® system in the GTA. Active listings can be displayed publicly under TRREB's IDX rules — that's what powers the "For Sale" and "For Rent" search on PropertyHub.ca. Sold and leased data is different: it can only be displayed to registered users who have signed a TRREB-mandated Virtual Office Website (VOW) Client Agreement.
This page is that agreement. Acceptance takes 30 seconds, lasts forever (or until you revoke it), and you don't get a marketing email avalanche in return.
The agreement
By accepting below, you agree as follows:
1. Personal, non-commercial use
You will use the sold, leased, and historical price data made available to you on PropertyHub.ca only for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with the possible purchase, sale, or lease of real estate. You will not redistribute, resell, scrape, republish, post, frame, or otherwise make any of this data available to anyone else, including through social media, email forwards, or other websites.
2. Bona-fide consumer relationship
You have a bona fide interest in the purchase, sale, or lease of residential real estate in the Greater Toronto Area or Ontario. You are not using PropertyHub.ca to evaluate listings on behalf of another agent, brokerage, lender, appraiser, or data aggregator.
3. Brokerage relationship acknowledgement
You acknowledge that PropertyHub.ca is operated by Central Home Realty Inc., Brokerage and that Scott (Broker, Central Home Realty Inc., Brokerage) is the introducing Realtor for the purpose of TRREB's VOW rules. This does not create a representation agreement or fiduciary relationship between you and the brokerage — a formal client relationship begins only upon signature of the prescribed RECO/TRESA forms (Buyer Representation Agreement, Customer Service Agreement, etc.).
4. Data accuracy
Sold and leased data shown to you is provided by TRREB and is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Prices reflect what was reported to TRREB at the time of sale; final adjustments, holdbacks, or post-closing disputes are not reflected. You will not rely on any data shown as the sole basis for an offer, valuation, or financial decision without confirming it with the brokerage.
5. Limited scope of display
- Sold and leased prices are shown for the previous 12 months per listing detail page and within building-history views.
- We may pause, throttle, or revoke your access at any time for misuse, suspected scraping, or sharing of credentials.
- If your consent record is older than 36 months, we may ask you to re-accept this agreement.
6. Privacy & consent record
When you accept this agreement, we record: your email address, your name (if provided), the timestamp of acceptance, your IP address, your browser user-agent, and the version of the agreement text shown to you. This record is required by TRREB VOW §6.6 and is retained for at least 180 days (and typically as long as your account is active).
We do not share this consent record with any third party other than TRREB itself for VOW audit purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full data-handling details.
7. Revocation
You can revoke your consent at any time using the button at the bottom of this page, or by emailing [email protected]. Revocation hides sold-price data on future page loads; we retain the original acceptance record per TRREB audit requirements.
8. Anti-scraping
You agree not to use any automated tool (scraper, headless browser, API replay, scheduled fetch) to harvest data from PropertyHub.ca. Doing so violates TRREB's VOW rules and may result in legal action by TRREB, the listing brokerages, and Central Home Realty Inc., Brokerage.
This agreement is required by TRREB VOW §3 and follows TRREB's prescribed Schedule "A" template. It does not replace independent legal advice for specific situations.
